• Applicable to all individual Laotians or foreigners residing legally in Laos who wish to make savings deposit in SHB Laos.
• Currency: LAK, USD, THB
• Term: 36 months
• Customers are allowed to make full or partial withdrawal prematurely and enjoy flexible interest rate based on actual period.
• If customers partially withdraw the principal prematurely, the remaining balance will be maintained to the end of term or until full withdrawal is made. Interest rate of actual depositing period is applied.
• Upon maturity date, if customers do not settle their deposit, the savings shall be automatically renewed for another term.
• Interest rate will be applied following SHB Laos’ rates published from time to time.

 Savings books are issued based on savings amount, interest rate is applied on savings balance.

• Customers are allowed to make full withdrawal maturely or prematurely.
• Savings book can be used for discount, mortgage, loan application or loan guarantee for other people in SHB Laos or other credit institutions (upon approval)
• Savings book can be used to verify financial capabilities of customers or their relatives.
• Personal income tax or other taxes (if any) shall be applicable following the laws of Laos.

Application:

 Deposit: Customers shall present their valid identity documents such as identification card, passport, etc (for Laotian citizen) or passport and entry visa or proof of visa exemption for foreign resident) and fill in the Deposit Slip of SHB Laos and deposit cash. Then customers will receive a savings book.

• Withdrawal: Customers shall present their valid identity documents (identification card/passport) and fill in Savings Withdrawal Request. The signature on Withdrawal Request must be the same as the signature registered with SHB Laos at time of depositing.
